SUnexpected responses that are not intentions

I'm trying to build a sales agent based on SPIN Selling.
The user goes through a flow of predefined messages and messages dynamically built with AI.
I would like to know how you deal with unexpected responses in such a flow.
I'm not talking about intentions; I'm talking about messages where the user might completely stray from the topic and ask a question or make a comment that has nothing to do with the previous message.
How do you handle this type of situation without interrupting the flow?
