Is data passed to variables stored in voiceflows servers?

I am wandering if voiceflow stores data passed to variables after the conversation has ended. For example if my bot asks for the username and stores it in a variable, is that username data stored even after the conversation has ended? In context of the GDPR and personal data storing.
