Does VoiceFlow require internet connection?
Hello,
I am just starting to look at VoiceFlow. I am interested to know if this can function without a connection to internet. I am looking to use in a closed system. Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes, Voiceflow does require an internet connection to function. This is because Voiceflow is a cloud-based platform, meaning all the designing, prototyping, and testing of your voice applications happen online on our platform.
However, if you want to use Voiceflow in a closed system, you have the option to export your assistant using our in-app export or our Project API. This allows you to host the assistant on your own customized platform, which could potentially be a closed system.
Please note that while you can export the assistant for use in a closed system, the creation and testing of the assistant will still need to be done on Voiceflow's online platform.

Let me know if I am reading this correctly - So I can create/build the VoiceFlow Chat Bot while connected to internet. Then when I am finished I can export over to closed system. Does the mean all the Knowledge(Data Sources) have to be defined while the chat bot is being built? Or can additional Data Sources be added once in a closed system?

You will always need internet for the chatbot to work. The chatbot makes an HTTP request to the voiceflow servers which will process the information and send a response back to the chat widget
It won't ever work offline
