what is the amount of interaction limit in free and pro plan?
Are there any interaction limit? like how many messages can be sent per month. What would happen if the amount of messages exceed the limit? I don't ask about AI token.

Voiceflow does not impose a specific interaction limit based on the number of messages sent per month. Instead, the usage is governed by the allocation of AI tokens, which are consumed during interactions with AI models.
Here are the details for the free and Pro plans:
Free Plan (Starter Plan)
- Token Quota: 100,000 tokens per month
- Usage: Tokens are consumed based on the complexity of the interactions. For example, a question might consume 800 to 1500 tokens, and a response might require 150 to 2000 tokens.
Pro Plan
- Token Quota: 2,000,000 tokens per month
- Usage: Similar to the free plan, tokens are consumed based on the complexity of the interactions.
What Happens if You Exceed the Token Limit?
- If you exceed your monthly token quota, you have the option to purchase additional tokens. The cost is $5 per 1 million tokens.
- Purchased tokens do not expire and are added to your monthly quota. For example, if you purchase 1 million additional tokens in the Pro plan, your token meter will reflect the new total (e.g., 3,000,000 tokens if you haven't used any yet).
Token Consumption Examples
- Knowledge Base Question and Answer: 800 to 1500 tokens
- Response AI Step (With Memory): 150 to 2000 tokens
- Response AI Step (Without Memory): 150 to 300 tokens
The token consumption varies based on the AI model used and the complexity of the interaction. More advanced models like GPT-4 consume more tokens compared to simpler models like GPT-3.5.
