Prototype input multimodality

Hi there, I'm planning to use the prototype link to collect responses (as opposed to embedding on my website). Is there any way to enable both chat and voice responses? Ideally, would like to have the microphone icon to provide the voice option.

If this is not currently available, is it on the roadmap by any chance?

Hi! At the moment the sharable Prototype link is text-only – it doesn’t expose the microphone icon and can’t accept speech input.

If you need testers to reply by voice you have two options today:
• Publish the agent and use the Web Chat widget (widget / pop-over / embedded). The widget includes built-in voice input, so visitors can click the mic icon and speak. docs: https://docs.voiceflow.com/docs/web-chat-widget
• Publish a voice channel (e.g. a phone line with VAPI) instead of the prototype link.

There’s no publicly announced timeline for adding voice input to the Prototype tool. Keep an eye on the changelog for any new interface updates.
