Question about bot detection in the Voiceflow Chat Widget
Hi Voiceflow Team,
I would like to know whether the Voiceflow chat widget has any built-in bot detection or protection mechanisms (e.g. CAPTCHA, rate limiting, behavioral detection, etc.).
My goal is to ensure that only real human users can interact with the widget and that automated bots cannot send messages or trigger flows.
Does the widget include any bot protection features, or would I need to implement my own measures (e.g. CAPTCHA or server-side validation)?

No bot detection is included in the widget AFAIK
👆 Correct. NOTE: We have been running our bot in production, and we have very, very few issues with this. I would say only worry about it if it becomes an issue.
