Cross-tab conversation persistence with automatic clear when all tabs are closed

Hi everyone,
I'm testing the Voiceflow web chat widget and I'm trying to achieve the following behaviour:
Share the same conversation across multiple browser tabs.
Automatically clear the conversation when all tabs are closed.
At the moment:
sessionStorage allows conversations to be cleared when all tabs are closed, but the conversation is not shared across tabs.
localStorage allows conversations to be shared across tabs, but the conversation persists after all tabs are closed.
Is there a recommended Voiceflow configuration or implementation pattern that provides both cross-tab conversation continuity and automatic clearing when the final tab is closed?
