KB update

Hello guys. I have an issue with KB updating. Eventhough I have refresh set to "Daily" my KB dosnt refresh. I attached a screenshot of 1 source in KB in document list where you can see I have refresh set to daily and last update was made in May...

Hi 👋🏻 Could you share with us some of the URLs that do not sync as they should so we can try to reproduce the issue on our end?

This applies to every URL in my knowledge base... (around 1400) Here are some example URLs: https://www.dataapex.com/ https://www.dataapex.com/document/contacts https://www.dataapex.com/document/chromatography-terms @NiKo | Voiceflow any update please?

Thanks for sharing some URLs, I've added them in a debug project with a daily sync and will tell you if I have the same issue tomorrow.

Yes, it worked for me. All links have been refreshed as expected. I was also able to double check the content on the URLs I've tested (USA Today) and it was updated.

Have you tried with a test URL where you have daily changes in the content?

Another option could be to update your sitemap and use it to force update your KB but tbh, I don't see the necessity to update content if there's no changes on the source.

All my URL’s are set to daily changes Thats why I dont understand this issue

@hrubasek I think Niko is making the point that if the content is not being updated on the URL then why would you need daily updates. You can see from the sitemap for your links the last update on a link was in 2024. Did you try this "Have you tried with a test URL where you have daily changes in the content?"

My KB consists of 1400 url link where content is being updated on the url and eventhough I have set my voiceflow kb sources to update daily - it doesnt work (as you can see in the screenshot of my first message here) @Braden @NiKo | Voiceflow @Steve B. | IntelleSync.ai still couldnt get answer or help from anyone. I tried reaching to support but I got no answer…

@hrubasek For testing purposes, setup your KB in a new assistant and see what happens. If the links refresh everyday as required then maybe there's something wrong with your original KB. In that case you could access the the working KB via API.

@hrubasek this is known issue where the daily refresh is not working. The team is working on it and we will fix this as soon as possible. In the meantime, have you tried syncing the KB manually? Can you also submit a ticket with us at support@voiceflow.com from your registered email address?

@Devina Baghmar Thanks for the reply. I tried to sync the KB manually but it deletes my metadata. Is there a way to sync the KB manually without loosing metadata attached to it? I already submited ticket July 3rd. Should I submit a new one? Thanks for the reply

@hrubasek that's also a part of this bug, which will be addressed in this fix. update: the fix for this issue is in review and will most likely be deployed this week.
