Voice to Chat converter

Hi there! We're trying to do some in-Voiceflow testing of our chatbot, but it keeps giving us this message: "You’re using a legacy project type that is no longer supported. Convert your project to run it." When we click "Convert Project", it takes us to a "Voice to Chat converter" page. We can't convert this project to voice, as it's a web-based chat bot. How can we continue running in-VF tests of our various flows?

Hey there! That banner appears when the project was created with the old “Voice-only” template (anything built before agents became multimodal). The legacy runtime that powered the in-Canvas Run test has been retired, so those projects have to be upgraded before they can run inside the Creator again. What to do 1. Export the project (•••Download .vf).
2. Go to the legacy converter: https://creator.voiceflow.com/convert-voice-to-chat
3. Upload the .vf file and pick the workspace where the new copy should live.
• The tool creates a new chat-compatible project – your existing flows are kept, nothing is deleted.
4. Open the new project and hit Run – the test window will work normally, and you can publish/deploy just like any other web-chat agent. There isn’t a way to make the old “voice-only” project run in the canvas today, so converting (or rebuilding) is required for continued in-VF testing. Docs ref: Legacy Voice→Chat converter ↗︎ https://creator.voiceflow.com/convert-voice-to-chat Hope that clears it up, let me know if you hit any snags!
