IF Condition not appearing in published work
Hi guys. I am a bit stumped and I was wondering if anyone has any solution to this?
I've set up an AI response which leads to an IF Condition step which then gives the relevant answer based on the AI response. It works perfectly in Voiceflow testing itself. But somehow it skips altogether in the published or in the prototype. Not sure if I am missing something here?
to reach this bug:
Welcome message > Click Help me decide? > (There's a lead capture in between) > Click 'Other '> Type in "I've got a sore wrist. Who should I go see?"
This is where the published / or the shared prototype skips the 'IF condition step I've laid out for it.
Somehow, the AI gives a different response as well. The response given in the testing is what I actually want.
The attached screenshots illustrate my predicament.
I've asked the Voiceflow assistant as well and it's saying something about making sure my VersionID is set to 'development' when I am making changes, and then set it to 'production' after. But isn't that as simple as hitting publish?
Prototype if anyone wants to have a go: https://creator.voiceflow.com/prototype/65a42a8d77a05bcdc339e427
Really appreciate the help.
Thanks

What does the if condition do?

Hi, @W. Williams (SFT) thanks for asking. The IF condition supposedly gives the selection of a booking based on the 'last response' of the AI response step.
For example, as I am building an online 'reception' to a physiotherapy clinic, the user will ask the AI who they should go see for their injury. The AI will make a recommendation as to which specialized physiotherapist they can go to.
The image attached is what the IF condition component looks like.
I hope that makes sense.

Not sure why it works just as well as I want it to in the designer stage when I am testing it. But once I publish it and it's embedded elsewhere somehow the 'IF Condition' step gets skipped altogether. It's quite frustrating not knowing why this is happening.
Hoping to get a response from someone on the team as well.
It is impossible for this to get skipped. You would not see the Debug info in the Production bot.
I DMed you

Which is why I am so baffled as to why it’s happening. Thanks I’ll get to your DM in a sec.
I worked with @gabby2080 and got this fixed
